Dr. Smith is a Licensed Naturopathic physician and is also a Fellow of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs. Natural Pediatrics of CT complete thorough biomedical assessments to address the root causes of illness and provide natural solutions to create permanent solutions. All treatments are evidence-based and thoroughly tested. Many of our treatments are natural supplements that work with the body’s natural processes to regain balance.

  • What can I expect during my child's first visit?
    The initial visit will include a comprehensive medical and developmental history assessment, a symptom review, an examination of past successful or unsuccessful treatments, a conversation about required lab tests, and a thorough intervention review. Additionally, a physical examination will be conducted, so please ensure your child is present for this appointment.
  • Are your services covered by insurance?
    Our in-office services are typically not covered by insurance. However, many individuals choose to utilize FLEX spending accounts to cover the cost of our care. We recommend LABWORK through QUEST/LABCORP, which is generally eligible for insurance coverage.
  • Can Pediatric Naturopathy be used alongside conventional medical treatments?
    Yes, we actively collaborate with your primary care physician and believe that both approaches play a vital role in supporting your child's development and overall health.
